 life maps groups

These eight beautifully crafted maps invite us to look at our lives through the lens of recognizing and responding to God's presence in our story. Beginning with a look at our present, they journey with us into our past and beckon us to envision God's purpose for our future. They help us to highlight the joy of our uniqueness and also gently make space for us to name and grieve our losses. Each map draws us into the deeper parts of ourselves and opens our eyes as God brings our stories to life.

The Maps are completed individually but they are meant to be shared together, in community. Small groups of 3-6 are optimal for this experience as we will engage three way listening here, too, as described in Group Direction.  The timeline for completing the Maps can be determined by the group members. It can be done in 12-16 weeks, or it can be approached in a more leisurely manner and spread over a year. Either way, count on 8-9 meetings to complete the process.

If you're curious, pop over to www.onelifemaps.com, explore their description and peruse the materials. Then, if you're interested, please contact me. If you have a couple of friends who are also interested, this is a lovely way to enlarge friendship. If you would be okay sharing your story with people you don't already know, I can help to form a group for you. It will not diminish the benefits for you in any way.

Pricing for facilitating these groups will be a little different since each map will require  varying lengths of time for sharing them together, dependent on number of participants. Most of the maps can be shared in under two hours, and group members can split the cost. The Map Portfolio costs $47 plus shipping, ordered from the publisher.
